Getting the right cozy effect?

Nowadays more and more prefer to come back to a cozy home after a hard day work. Here we discuss about how to get those warm and comfortable feel. Do you have any ideas how to create a cozy mood?
Consider these few pointers when you are putting together a more intimate cozy space.

Shadows do give a cozy and warm effect and using direct lighting would a great impact on creating the right mood. Shadows can block out certain area to draw you more visually effect. Use lights that you can direct the place where it lands.
Some good examples of incandescent lighting are Table lamp s and standing lamps.

These kind of lighting is a good source to cast shades which create the shadows you want. Recently my design I would like to include recess lighting into wall feature and it look great and able to cast the shadows effect. Another way is to making the false at differ level with allow the down light able to cast shadows or recess lighting within the false ceiling.

Next come the easy part adding textures to the room. Throw some s puffy pillows, rug and blackest to the space and its will immediate add coziness to your space. Remember your furniture finishes should be more toward textured instead of sleek look.

Getting the correct color to the space or room is important. Having darker color tone for wall and furniture will draw you into the space make it more cozy effect.
