John Erdos ……
It’s been fifeen years since i first opened my home to friends and strangers to what has now become an international business. Think of John Erdos and you think of wood furniture.. teak wood. Well, get ready to re think as i launch my lastest collection Urban. I have anchored my design philosohy and understanding of raw materials that i have used for 15 years in a bold new way.
i have always used recycled trak from buildings. We physically tear them down to salvage as much as we can. Then i started to notice steel, glass and other recylable materials. You can interpret the word ” Urban ” in many ways, but to me; the core is using earth’s natural materials and recycle them into an urban context that we live in. The recycled teak is now hugged by weathered steel. Itis my personal response to the distress that the enviroment is going through.
