What can you says about our local interior designing standard and have we reach the international standard or are we just a small fish in a ocean. We are so conservative narrow minded and many more…..! what make me say this definitely must have my reasons or my excuses hahhahahaha .
What cause me to has this impression ….. ask me why …
When i approach some local interior firms and furniture retails asking them that i need to take some pictures for my blog and not asking why they shut me off. You see this is our standard Singaporeans attitude. What can i says……. 
But only Modliving replied me with a warm welcome. They ask me to visit their showroom and take a look. I must says not all are bad and they are still got some good one around 
I was very impress with their reply.
Back to our discussion ….
We are not like the western or European, they are much generous and willingly to open and show people what they do. Most of the International Branded product which i had visit their website most of them allow people to download their products catalog and they are not afraid of their design being copy?
and this make me ask myself. Why?
So are we super kiasu or what……..
Or are we afraid of competition.
How to improve if no competition……am i right?
Are we able to stand side by side with the big name and tell the world we got international standard.
Must i say more….?
I think we still got a lot more to do before we able to reach international standard. I not saying we do not have good design but just that we are too afraid to show people (afraid design being copy).
If your design can appreciate by millions and millions and your name would be recognize by other why not show your best work to the world let they knows that Singapore got outstanding design.
