lousy Service Stardand from furniture retailer at Sungei Kakut

I was so disappointed with a furniture retailer located at Sungei Kadut. The service and the responsibility from the furniture retailer was so so poor. I almost forgot to manage the furniture name start with a ‘Red’.

The story begun when my owner brought me down to RED to select the furniture from the shop. They made purchase for them during the Expo fair and paid a deposit at the Expo but didn’t really confirm anything at all. Anyway after they made the deposit with the RED and they were saying that a lot of negative feedback from this Furniture retailer in the Renotalk forum. I remember i told them, not to be too subjective in what you heard from the forum. But…. i was so so wrong !

After confirming all the selections from Red date was confirm and we ask for a date for all the good to be deliver on 06/09/08 but only some furniture were deliver and they call back saying the sofa and the dining table are not ready and can’t deliver on time.

The next delivery timing change to 15/09/08. They were expecting the sofa and the dining table to be deliver on that day but something went wrong again. A lady call they saying that they didn’t know which dining table was confirm because the sales person serve them left the company. and Monday which it was 15/09/08, they receive the sofa set and without the dining table. The delivery men say the office arrange a spare dining set for them .huh?

I could not believe all these crap….. the Red did not inform them anything at all…….!

She try to call the office but no one pick up the call and anyway they couldn’t do anything much at that time so she inform the delivery to inform their to call her back.

Ever till Tuesday afternoon, she also didn’t receive any phone call from Red. What service is this. Big f***.

So, I help them to make a trip down to RED and ask they about the dining table. At that place the sale personal was OK and quite polite in serving me. He went in to the office and check. A moment later, let me tell you, i was surprise when he told me that the dining is still in china and the cargo will be reaching Singapore end of this month.

Without much saying, i thinks the Service is Suck and suck big time. They could have inform my owners much early and let they make other necessary arrangement. What crap is this……they did not know that the dining is not in Singapore. I ask my owner to cancel the dining table since they could not deliver on time. After i left the place the Red call her told her that she can not cancel the order because the dining table is a custom made piece. i remember the changes they make is only changing the colour of glass. Nothing about the height or the size of the dining table.

i not going to thumb them down because of this incident but i hope they will make effect to change and be more reasonable and be more responsible.

    I’d like to add that Julian was being very fair and objective when we highlighted to him that this RED A**LE place had bad reviews and he even told us not to judge based on some bad reviews..afterall, many satisfied customers may not write in… anyway, we’re still negotiating with the company and Julian has been absolutely helpful (even though full payment for his reno services have made hehe)…. On the contrary, Julian, thanks for helping us following up on this, you’ve really gone the extra mile for us… Getting a new home is a tiring and stressful affair and a helping hand from this trade goes a long way. Kudos to you dude! We thank our lucky stars to have chosen you to build our deam home and we’ll continue to engage you in enhancing our home in the years to come. Thanks again!
