¡CreActívate scholarships Creativate of the IED Barcelona

Here is a piece of great News to share with everybody.

Recently, I’ve just come to know about that IDE (Istituto Europeo di Design) is launching a new scholarships of Creactivate to promote and reward to talented newcomer in the fields of Design, Fashion, Visual Arts or Communication. My main objective about setting up this blog is to help designers to promote and publish their work . When i receive the email from Natalia Herrera of IDE
and she asked me to help to introduce a press release event about the scholarships.

Academic Campaign 2009-10

Launch of the new scholarships Creactívate of the IED Barcelona

• CreActívate has as central theme the Sustainability

• The scholarships, one by course, cover the three years of studies

• The students publish their design projects on the web

• The 17 of may is the deadline to deliver the projects

Barcelona; 23 of March of 2009. The Istituto Europeo di Design of Barcelona has taken advantage of its presence in the Saló de l’ Ensenyament, for the launch of the new campaign of the three- year courses scholarships 2009-2010.
¡CreActívate! is the name of the contest of the three-year courses scholarships that the IED Barcelona has organized for the future students of design and that covers the enrolment fee. The web http://becas.iedbarcelona.es is the platform chosen by the school to present the candidates and the space in which the projects will be published.
To participate in the contest you have to present a project that responds to the principles of: economic, social or ecological sustainability, and to apply it to the three-year course that you would like to study.
Each project should include:

• Title of the project

• 3 images of the Project ( max size. per image 1Mb, jpg format)

• Descriptive text of the Project (80-100 words)

• Letter of motivation that explains the reason why you want to be formed in the fields of Design, Fashion, Visual Arts or Communication.

The limit date to send the ¡CreActívate! projects is the next 17 of May, from which a scientific committee formed by the teachers of the IED Barcelona and professionals of the design will choose the best projects with option to scholarship. The web page also offers a system that permits you to vote the most interesting projects, which will be at the most acclaim top five projects.
For the Istituto Europeo di Design the ¡CreActivate! scholarships are an innovative and avant-garde platform to reward the talent and to promote the incorporation of creative minds in the exciting world of the design.
