hmmmm……….. i think today i like to talk about something interesting when and why you need to get an interior designer. Or maybe a General contractors are able to do the job. And On what ground you need an interior designer to help you to plan and coordinate the renovation.
Probably you need to ask yourself are you a person likes to learn and love to be in charge. Another thing i forget to mention if you got a lot of free times and can manage the time to coordinate yourself.
If you match all these which i had mention i believe you are the right person to coordinate your own renovation work.
Now, it my job to highlight something you need to consider
Patient
Everyday i have been dealing with the workers and it not easy as what you think. I always need to remind the workers again and again for the same kind of jobs but what happen the old mistake happen and happen again and again.
Details of work
With so many years on the job training and the knowledge i learned from the trade, it’s more easy for me to spot the mistakes from the works and another thing i like to mention is the work details requirement like do you know what is the standard height for the kitchen cabinet or the study table height and how many inches drop from the ceiling the HDB requirement and so on……
layout planning and colour combination
Everybody also knows how to plan a layout or pick colour. Having a good layout is the key to interior design. As a interior designer i started off my ideas with a good layout and colour combination. E.g small space soft colour will make your room appear bigger.

hi, knowing that u have years of experience. But basic requirement for plaster ceiling is hts from floor level & not from ceiling.
Secondly, seem like u done have a group of good workers.
maybe u keep changing worker.
Or ur men not skillfull enough rto handle ( Cheap labour )
As i see the pic post by u, silcone can be seen very thk.
Normally cust would not like job hack & redo. ( waste time $ )
