I’ve been doing some research on playground equipments for my new project backyard kid playground design and to my surprise playground equipment have change a lots. I still remember we where got such playground for us to play and enjoy. We only going to nearby “longkang” Drain to catch small fishes or my favor pastime is to catch spider on the way to school and during recess I bring out, let it fight with my friend’s spider and the loser get to buy the winner a bottle of soda water. Time has change and kids don’t play with spider or catch small fishes.
Parents pamper their kid and spend money to design playground at their backyard for their kid. Let discuss about some of the equipments you can plan for your backyard.
The most traditional and cheapest kind of playground equipment to setup. “The Tire swing”
Kids just love to sit and swing with it. I remember at my old school field which has a big old tree which ties a tire swing on it and when school end in the afternoon, we use to play around the big old tree. I believe everyone here would know how to setup a tire swing. Get a big and thick rope tie it over a branch with an old tire.
You need a bigger space if you considering getting a swing set for you backyard. Modern swing set come in lots of interesting design and color. The common swing set setup usually comes with swings, slider, ramp and etc. Swing set is a good investment and you can find your kid spend hours of outdoor fun promote physical activity. Every kids love going to the playground but sometime public safety might be an issue around your neighborhood. Safety is important when you buy a swing set take not of the material being use and make sure most hard expose areas are cover with plastic or rubber for maximize safety.
