Fengshui interior design stagnant & Circulating Ch’i

I wanted to share some knowledge about and concept with you. When owner ask me plan any layout for them i normally would tell them. You do not need a to plan a good layout for you. Because any good layout it always base on the basic interior concept of

  • functional of the room
  • Mood of the room
  • Harmony of the room

Harmony is about nothing out of place.

Minimizing clutter because piles of unfinished work or unsorted rubbish act as a sort of mental break and disturbing the flow of the ch’i.

The Ch’i should able to curl sinuously through the room without having break up on sharp surfaces or pool stagnantly in messy corners.

Ch’i should enters the front door it circulates rather as a wind would do, along corridors and through internal doors, passing out through windows. I remember there is a saying about having front door align with rear in a straight line and it will encourage sha ch’i  to move too rapidly through the home. To modify this, people likes to have some barrier to be put in the place between them.
