Modern contemporary Architectural Design stair design

I remember sometime back i saw a picture of a stair design  like that in the one of the interior design magazine and i been wondering how the stair is constructed. I finally got the answer to it. My friend an interior designer (Eric) bring me to his project he finish sometime back  .

The metal structure is insert and mounted onto the building structure and Each step of the stair is a metal blade for the wooden to be slotted onto the blade, individual wooden is slotted onto the metal blade but i notice there is no screw on the wooden plank. I like this kind of design as it do not block and more light is allow to penetrate.

What does google got to do with interior design? Google come with 3D drawing software call google sketchup and it is so easy to use. This software is design for ease of learning then the designing work with the software. It for people likes us lazy. I do not like long learning curve software and hard to master or need many hours of training in order to becoming good or expert with the software. I wanted to put my design ideas in reality and i need to a software to put into prospective for the clients to view.

I wanted to design and draw without spend many hours on training about learning how to use the software. Google come with this software Google sketchup and it just the right thing for us. The steps of putting your ideas in reality is so simple. I only spend few hours on the training video and i can start using the software to my advantage. Now google sketchup have already with the later update version , sketchup pro 7v. There are many rendering software design for the use of google sketchup pro 7. For example V ray is the most popular rendering plugin for sketchup pro 7.

The good old day where you go pharmacy to get your prescription. In and out ……but now pharmacy sell more stuffs then just drugs and probably a place for you loiter around and pass time.The designer need to see pharmacy more then just a place that sell drug but a place where people come here to shop for cosmetics and perfumery. The interior design of the pharmacy must have 3 elements.

A successful design must has 3 elements

• The functional
• Mood
• a Sense of Harmony

The Diamondhouse is a sound studio and office extension to a house located deep in a canyon, against a severely sloping hillside, with minimal access and little space upon which to build. Direct sunlight reaches the site for only a few hours a day. The geotechnical condition is challenging, requiring 30-foot caissons to underpin new walls and foundations. A complex web of regulations governed the height, width, depth and specific relationship to the retaining walls needed to build the project.

Simply just love the design of the spiral shape staircase running from the bottom across the six storeys of the building to the top floor. Probably after looking at the photos i believe you notice the characteristic distinguished Green fibra cement staircase running to the top of the building .  The building’s dynamic and innovative character is expressed via its spiral shape.

Design is about bringing  the characteristic of subject  making it more distinguish. As i always say design is not to make it more complicated but  being simple and bring out the character of the subject.  I seen many interior design works from interior magazines  and some designs are really fantastic and awesome. By appreciates other designer it actually help me to be more focus.

Hello,

i like to frequent MacDonald  since during school time. I remember, I use to prepare for my exam at MacDonald outlet and i must apologize to the management for taking up the space during that time. I still visit MacDonald and sometime i bring my kid down for breakfast. The Restaurant layout and design didn’t change since the last time.

The floor tiles being use still the same and the colour concept of the restaurant remain  unchanged, The colour of the furnishing likes wall panels and the carpentry work make use of wood grain give a soft and warm feel to the restaurant.

I was looking at this very interesting architectural  house design by www.brucebolander.com . I can’t find any description over the page. So What do you thinks about this design …..I believes some people will likes it and some people will hates.

I can see the architect really think out the box for the use of materials. The whole structure is make use of I beams and metal sheets with see through glass panels around it.  Very modern and minimalist concept.  You can’t see this kind of design in many places. For the interior it more on Contemporary design simple and stream line design. looking at the design in the photos, I believe that the designer do not want to cluster the interior space with  lots of furniture.

Interesting though to have a office just outside your yard or your garden. Perhaps you need a private space for your work at home without disturbing your family members or being disturbed by them. Designer from www.officepod.co.uk  came out with an innovation concept of a office pod. After reading through the concept what i find out is that they wanted to design something which is within the house but separate from the house in order to to work separate from the house.A self contained office that exceeds all standard office accommodation regulations and requirements.

What made this house look great is the simplicity of the design. The design made  use of   rectangular  shape blocks stack together across each other, giving a 3D dimension elevation.

It remind me of playing with lego.

The use of glass panels for window allow light to come through producing a sleek and clean contemporary look for the house.

I just love the huge open space  roof top idea. And during the night you can just sat on chair at the roof top enjoying the passing by stars.

Here are some finding from the internet and i just love the interior setup and the architectural design. The design emphasis was to create open space by clean lines and lots of natural light. The removal of walls lets in space, natural sunlight and giving the home a resort like atmosphere.

I’ve been search for some  new 3D modeling software  which must be easy to use fast to pick up and happen to stumble upon Google sketchup. A very interesting 3D software and very much different from other 3D software i used before (e.g Rhino, 3D max Archicad  or Formz etc). Apart from ease to use and it is not expensive. It tag at US $ 495.

Basically, Google sketchup pro suite  is a simple and yet powerful modeling software to create a 3D visualization. Beside sketchup modeling software it also bundle with layout 2 for creating professional documents and presentations.

Produce multi-page presentations, design documents and simple construction drawings. Add dimensions, annotations, text, photos and graphics to create scaled plan, elevation, isometric and perspective views. Share your documents as high-res prints, PDFs and onscreen slide shows.

Having said all this i have just download the Google sketchup 7 pro EVAL version.

I have been trying out this software for the past week and i really love it and wanted to learn more about Sketchup 7 pro. If you want to product  Photorealistic picture after you have create the 3D model . In the market you can find many Rendering Plugins for Sketchup 7 pro.
