Most people visit shopping mall spend hour and hour buying clothes and gift but most people walk around without looking up at the ceiling design . If you look up and look around you will find interesting ceiling design. we can learn more by appreciate other designer works and how they put each and individual small ideas into a big concept. Here are some tips if you going to renovate your house remember before you plan your ceiling design you have to consider the furniture and design layout.

10 years back ceiling design for residence is more complicated, Roman ceiling design were very popular back then but nowadays design is kept simple and like using of L box, false ceiling with cove lighting to create mood effect for the house. The reason for me to propose installing l false ceiling is for creating mood effect for the room using of down lights.

New HDB flat design at sengkang

Just a quick update on the changing of HDB flat design. The first phrase of flats in sengkang were built almost 10 years ago and as you see from the flat the outlook of the design has change. It look much better right now and almost look like condominium. The exterior facial design indeed has improve a lot and not the same old boring look. Do you still remember the old look of the HDB flat you once to live. I still remember i use to stay with my parent’s house in the 3 room flat. I was born and rise in Singapore and i just love the country .

Here is a new update what I find from the internet today . Judy Goodger Prestige a property website. As you know I love beautiful design and like to look at other designer’s work. Over here is a 3 level high end state of the art electronically small home and with an stunning to the ocean. My ideas of a modern dwell house with swimming pool

Here is something I trying out,designing a 2 storey dwell house with swimming pool. First of all as an interior design I planned the interior layout first before I start to think about the exterior.

I have just completed an A&A project for a 2 storey dwell house not long ago and the main issue about the house is not enough nature light able to penetrate in the house. If I got a chance to design a landed dwell house i would probably want to has something like that more nature light into the house, roof garden, outdoor patio for the master room and shade for the car and last but not least a swimming pool.

I just install a new plugin call 1001 bit Architectural Tools for Sketchup and It work perfectly and this plugin tools help you create wall, staircase and many more for designing houses. It is very useful and i would recommended to people who into architectural 3D drawing .

I will try to completed the design and the drawing fast and get it render to post it up here.

LED ping pong lights design for shopping mall ceiling

Yesterday afternoon, during my lunch break I went to this new shopping mall along the Serangoon center and it was a huge and large place with . It was so crowded . probably it was still new …….! My interest of the visit to the shopping mall was to take a look at the shopping mall interior design and the individual shopping outlet design in the mall. Here is the first finding from the shopping mall it the ceiling lighting design for the shopping mall. At some part of the shopping mall the you can see thousands of ping pong ball like LED light design on the ceiling it was like like in were walking through a space.

It was beautiful!

The world’s first building “Yas Hotel” designed to span a Grand Prix race circuit

The Yas Hotel as what you see from the design it is definitely a magnification building. A cutting edge design about the future believe me you would be amaze when you see the building. From the article by Asymptote Architecture , The main features of the design hotel is the 217 meter long web like shade structure which made of 5,800 pivoting diamond shaped glass panels covering the two 10 story elliptical-shape towers. And the grill shell component can be seen from miles away which give the overall key aspect of the architectural design and it significance.

The architect have though of everything , the hotel exterior surface is designed as an environmentally responsive skin that by day reflects the sky and surroundings and by night is lit by a full color changing LED lighting system that incorporate video feeds that are transmitted over the entire surface of the building.

The world’s first building designed to span a Grand Prix race circuit. The 2 towers are links together by a sculpted steel monocoque bridge construction that passes above the Formula 1 track which able for viewing of the race from the interconnect.

I just finish render this pictures, this 3D model is imported from Google warehouse and During the process I realize it is more difficult to render for exterior and interior and exterior render setting are very different. In the first place the exterior lighting (e.g sun) affect the setting of the physical setting of the camera which make it difficult to set. You need to try a few times in order to get it right. As you see more objects in the picture definitely need more time with the setting of the materials.

Anyway, I just want to show the first picture I render for exterior. Hope it would be helpful to you. If you wanted to share your experience on how to do a good render please do i will be delighted.

What caught my attention and impress me most is the architectural shape of the house design as it consist of differ modular layers insert together forming the house. A modern day living, a lifestyle everyone dream about and living near the river front, the breeze of the water and it must be incredible beautiful sight of the river from bay of the house. The facade design of the house making it an unique individual among the rest.

B HIVE, APPLECROSS

A luxury riverfront home for a close knit family of five. The brief called for a contemporary home maximising the relationship with the outdoors and Swan River, while framing views and providing comfortable zones for living with flexibility to adapt as entertaining spaces. The design solution involved defining zones of the home and wrapping the public spaces with the roof which itself spans a 17m shelter. The mitred stone portal frames the view from the interior and defines the theatre of family living. An operable glass wall disappears to expose this internal verandah to the swimming pool deck and the incredible river beyond.

Modern Hair Salon Shop Design

I was surprise to see my favorite hair salon shop renovated when i step in the shop. It had been total revamp and re furnish and it look fantastic with a cosy feel. I have been patronize this hair salon for many years as i remember the place is run down and the floor are dirty and it messy but now it a more conducive and better place for the Hair Stylists to work in.

The shop theme is base on Black and Grey concept and the shop is divided into 8 compartments with individual seat . The individual compartment has mirror set and displace cabinet and it is beautiful design with a semi curve arc grey colour finishing laminate so that the customers can have some privacy. The ever have a espresso machine maker to make coffee or espresso for customers. I just love the place !
