simple wall feature design for your bedroom room

Hello everyone i have here a simple wall feature design for you to consider.  probably the interesting part about the design is the groove line on the wall feature.  A simple groove design might take up more time compare to a flat wall feature to fabricate.  Ant without saying the cost is differ too.

Bedroom design – drawing desk with book cabinet and TV console

I remember before i start off to think about the design for the bedroom. He told me he need a desk and a lot of spaces to keep all his books. With the owner needs in mind I start with a rough sketch in my mind how the design on the desk integrated with the wall feature and the TV console.

Bedroom design book cabinet with wall feature

I supposed to finish the interior design for this flat last week …. just that because of CNY i have put every aside and I was sick for few days due to infection of the throat.   Base on the owners request as they need to have a cabinet to for their books and they wanted a wall feature for hang the TV. The space is limited and in my mind I already have some ideas how to integrate the book cabinet with the TV console.

The  most important   is to take notes of the differ depths  for the book cabinet, wall feature and the TV console during designing.

Modern bedroom with L shape console feature design

Do you still remember this picture and i posted it quite sometime back . I re render this bedroom design with some minor changes made to the wall and light setting . So many months working on sketchup and vray i make great improvement on the composite of the lighting and texture setting.

Sketchup indeed is a very easy to use 3d modelling software you can model basically anything you like when you put you mind into it and vray is a very powerful render engine and i happy with the result. Still got many more to understanding about vray can do.  I also share with people whom are working with sketchup and vray.

Bedroom design – bedhead cushion feature design

Here are 2 design i draw few day ago and i was thinking about using pink color match with light grey for the wall and that go with the head board feature design. I come out with 2  wall features design for the. Which one do you prefer the purple diamond rectangular cushion design or the long horizontal red and grey design .

Purple is a romantic colour and it make the room cover with love. Red is passion and you need passion in the romantic bedroom.

Classy Interior bedroom design

Been too long  never post any pictures online and here is something i design and draw 2 weeks ago. I want to know can sketchup and v ray produce a photo realistic picture so i test it.

A  Classy bedroom design  with a cushion bedhead  with mirror design  and come with both side table. I wanted a cozy effect and in order to achieve this i pick walnut colour for the wardrobe and side table  and Champagne colour for the cushion bed head.

Here is few photos I just finish to render. It is a 4 room flat bed room design. One of my students send me a email telling me that he need help to finish the design of the bedroom and get it render to present to his clients. Initially, I though that he had completed most of the drawing only need help for me to render the picture. but….. it only 40% completed  ….!

Just a update of something i design recently. In the first place i must admit that i just love using white and it is just beautiful.

White is associated with light, goodness, innocence, purity, and virginity. It is considered to be the color of perfection.

White means safety, purity, and cleanliness. As opposed to black, white usually has a positive connotation. White can represent a successful beginning. In heraldry, white depicts faith and purity.

I use white as a primary color for my design as it can combine with any other color and it still look great with other. You can make use of darker tone color for the wardrobe and you can purchase colorful decor to display in the room

This morning i told myself I wanted to design a theme based on Christmas . I wanted everyday is Christmas ….. It would be a Great ideas for a bedroom design. Next, I started to plan and did some research for more ideas on the internet  and I keep on telling myself what can I design for a everyday Christmas.It must be happy and cheerful. First, I decided on the Bedroom colour theme  and then  i told myself that the few basic colour to use for the room concept would be – White , Red and Green. Which is I normally see during Christmas season. Am i Going to draw a Christmas Tree or what can i Draw …..It puzzle me for a long hours.

Then It strike me why don’t i draw a snowman …

Hmmmmmmm…… A stand a lone or something it can be use and how to design the snowman to be functional.  I spend the past few hours designing and drawing it and What you see over here is  the  final design  of  the” Snowman”.  An open book shelves base on the shadow outline of a snowman. I design it to be very useful as you can see from the design. It can serve or use for display or  use it purely as a book shelve. Did you notice on the snowman face a pointed nose and a pipe beside the face. The pointed nose is to hang bag and the pipe shelf is to keep your keys. Hope you likes the design .

Hello, my name is julian sim and i an a interior designer.

Thank for being here and i would like to share more ideas about designing your bedroom.  Few days ago as i was watching documentary show on the discovery channel  and saw  many beautiful Cactus  on the desert. It give me an ideas a bout how i going to design my next project. As i start to plan and design for this bedroom, the picture of the desert and the Cactus were very clear in my mind. So i just start to design the book shelve and study area with the ideas from the desert and the cactus. Ever the colours of the bedroom design is also  based on the scene from the desert – Green for the Cactus, the design wallpaper represent the  cloud in the sky. I kept the design of the study table and book cabinet very simple.
