Bedroom design – drawing desk with book cabinet and TV console

I remember before i start off to think about the design for the bedroom. He told me he need a desk and a lot of spaces to keep all his books. With the owner needs in mind I start with a rough sketch in my mind how the design on the desk integrated with the wall feature and the TV console.

Bedroom design book cabinet with wall feature

I supposed to finish the interior design for this flat last week …. just that because of CNY i have put every aside and I was sick for few days due to infection of the throat.   Base on the owners request as they need to have a cabinet to for their books and they wanted a wall feature for hang the TV. The space is limited and in my mind I already have some ideas how to integrate the book cabinet with the TV console.

The  most important   is to take notes of the differ depths  for the book cabinet, wall feature and the TV console during designing.

Wall feature design with wall paper

My friend ask me to design  all wall feature base on white, black and red colour for the living hall. First of all i pull up wall paper for 1 side of the wall to create a back drop for the wall feature. I wanted to make part of the wall feature design to blend in with the wall paper .

Sweet and lovely pink for your modern living area

This is just a though of creating a sweet and lovely concept for the living area. In the first place do you like pink or pink is a no for you. Pink is also not my strong point for colour scheme for most of my design. Anyway, as a designer we must try to accept and make use of differ colour for designing.

The power of green color for interior

Green color is the color for nature  and just like when you have a walk in the garden or in forest you feel calm and restful. Green is a color of balance and it symbol self respect and well being.

For example, you can see many decorator or interior design like to use green for  guests waiting as it can help to relax a person.Green is thought to relieve stress.

Picking green furniture for your interior decoration

living design tip- rug

i been in the interior industries for many year and design many house and i felt very empty after designing the wall feature and display cabinet or the shoe cabinet. Home decor is part of interior design. Without any accessories. soft finishing it look so cold and empty .  Picture or family photo is essential for home decorate and its fill up the empty wall behind the sofa.

A rug bring the soft touch for the living room and make the room more cozy and warm. It fill the space and brighten the living room. Think about it!

Modern bedroom with L shape console feature design

Do you still remember this picture and i posted it quite sometime back . I re render this bedroom design with some minor changes made to the wall and light setting . So many months working on sketchup and vray i make great improvement on the composite of the lighting and texture setting.

Sketchup indeed is a very easy to use 3d modelling software you can model basically anything you like when you put you mind into it and vray is a very powerful render engine and i happy with the result. Still got many more to understanding about vray can do.  I also share with people whom are working with sketchup and vray.

Modern Living interior design

I had just finish this living hall design and the initial ideas of the design basically using 2 different laminate with mirror for this design , The laminate is from Edi and i special like the horizontal line of this laminate.  During the design process  i take note of the size of the laminate which is 2400mm x 1200mm. With the restriction from the size i need to know the piece of design feature wall design being put together . Which allow me to form the overall concept of the design.

modern interior living design for HDB 4 room

Helping a friend to plan and design for their living. Feature wall panels for both side of the wall. My ideas was to create something affordable which is not expensive to fabricate. The feature wall concept came from MRT direction board which showing all the line from north to west east to south. I find that it very interesting and i try to approach the design ideas from using Line diagram.  Some thin line and some thick line from moving from one point to the other point. Some of the panels i replace with color mirror making it more interesting .

I love to adapt design from our daily life hope that it will help you with your home design.

Small Kitchen cabinet design at The Bayshore

More ideas for your kitchen cabinet design. I was at the bayshore condo and i notice how small the kitchen cabinet i took the liberty to take down the measure and and design the kitchen cabinet. I was think when you purchase a condo what actually you gain 2 small  bedroom and a small kitchen but it  come with a public swimming pool within the compound.

Anyway, Here is something i drew,  A L shape kitchen cabinets on both side of the walls.  Next time when you plan you kitchen layout and design your own kitchen cabinet  remember not to buy a huge fridge !
