I got this lookbox issues 15 2010 at petrol station when i was at the kiosk pumping gas for my car. I browse the the magazine section and happen that this issue of the Lookbox caught my attention. The small print ” small space issue’ is what i looking for. In my mind i wanted to know that is that all about. The issues cost me $8.

Anyway i went and pay for the book and off i went.

Just finish browsing the magazine and not yet reading the details of the magazine. I not really interested with the interior design of the I.D firm but i like reading the tips and trick of  refining the home.  I like this section of the magazine which stated Special features page 068. It actually talk  about how to decorate you wall with differ interior ideas.

Please read the portion on Gentle reminders on page 72

it highlighted the options home how to make your wall stand out.

Overall, it’s still consider good reading materials for ideas on interior design and  it showcase many Singapore I.D firm projects. Some of the interior design by some I.D firm i also really impressed.

Hello folks,

Here are some update on what magazine available in the market. I happen to went to Goodrich to pick some wall papers for my clients and they have come their own hard copy of  Regional Interior designer’s showcase magazine (1st edition).

I just browse through the book and lots of designer pictures and write up of the design. This magazine showcase interior designer over the regional :- Singapore , China, Hongkong, India, Indonsia, Malaysia, Thailand and UAE. If you are interested to got a copy of this Magazine you must purchase it at Goodrich Singapore office. It cost Singapore dollar $25.

Hello once again,

I actually manage to get a copy of  of this limited edition “200 inside Dulux Preferred Designer” browse through the magazine and manage to find some unique and nice  interior design. Definitely not all i like but some do stand out among the rest.

Not long ago, Nippon also came out with their own Preferred Designer magazine and it an attachment to Home and Decor Magazine.

Both Magazines cover lots of interior design works and projects of the Interior designer firms but l looking at both Magazine Dulux ICI Preferred Designer magazine carried more weight compare to Nippon Magazine. Anyway, Both Magazine got lots to offer.

Back to this magazine and probably you would like to ask  how to get a copy of this magazine. if i not wrong you need to fill up a redemption voucher from any purchase of the local interior design magazine or you can download the redemption voucher @ Dulux ICI . After doing so you go to any redemption outlet preferred by Dulux ICI to collect you own copy of the 200 inside Dulux Preferred Designer Limited edition.

Recently, I’ve just come to know about that IDE (Istituto Europeo di Design) is launching a new scholarships of Creactivate to promote and reward to talented newcomer in the fields of Design, Fashion, Visual Arts or Communication. My main  objective about setting up this blog is to help designers to promote and publish their work . When i receive the email from Natalia Herrera of IDE
and she asked me to help to introduce a press release event about the scholarships.

Academic Campaign 2009-10

Launch of the new scholarships Creactívate of the IED Barcelona

• CreActívate has as central theme the Sustainability

• The scholarships, one by course, cover the three years of studies

• The students publish their design projects on the web

• The 17 of may is the deadline to deliver the projects

Barcelona; 23 of March of 2009. The Istituto Europeo di Design of Barcelona has taken advantage of its presence in the Saló de l’ Ensenyament, for the launch of the new campaign of the three- year courses scholarships 2009-2010.
¡CreActívate! is the name of the contest of the three-year courses scholarships that the IED Barcelona has organized for the future students of design and that covers the enrolment fee. The web http://becas.iedbarcelona.es is the platform chosen by the school to present the candidates and the space in which the projects will be published.
To participate in the contest you have to present a project that responds to the principles of: economic, social or ecological sustainability, and to apply it to the three-year course that you would like to study.
Each project should include:

• Title of the project

• 3 images of the Project ( max size. per image 1Mb, jpg format)

• Descriptive text of the Project (80-100 words)

• Letter of motivation that explains the reason why you want to be formed in the fields of Design, Fashion, Visual Arts or Communication.

The limit date to send the ¡CreActívate! projects is the next 17 of May, from which a scientific committee formed by the teachers of the IED Barcelona and professionals of the design will choose the best projects with option to scholarship. The web page also offers a system that permits you to vote the most interesting projects, which will be at the most acclaim top five projects.
For the Istituto Europeo di Design the ¡CreActivate! scholarships are an innovative and avant-garde platform to reward the talent and to promote the incorporation of creative minds in the exciting world of the design.

Few days ago i drove past orchard and notice decoration all over orchard road and make me realize that Christmas is coming soon and if you want to visit Singapore. This would be the best time. Lots of sales and lots of celebration party everywhere.
