Hi,

Many have ask me about where to buy their home decorating, lighting and bathroom accessories etc. Probably i will be starting to update more shops which i think is that have good values stuff and reason price. The amazing thing is that most owners knew about where to get reasonable cheap price for the bathroom accessories, lighting and sofa.

Many times it was my owners updating me with the information about where to shop and probably is because they are excited about their house and tend to spend more time doing research. I still remember there was a time when my owner brought me to a bathroom sanitary ware shop to help them confirm the size of the bathtub to buy and the salesperson is totally not up to the standard. Outside the shop, I saw the piece of display promotion water closet (W.C) and I asked them about this special promotion and after getting the answer i was laughing ( only this piece left).

You can find many shop selling almost the same things and to me it is not much different compare this shop to other shops. At least, one of my owner purchase some of the items from them and they responsible enough to exchange items when it is damage. I remember few months back when my owner purchase some bathroom wares and the mirror was broken after my plumber remove the cover during installation. They bring it back and do an one to one exchange without any problem. Service is important and always the little things that count and people only remember the small thing that happen.

Hacking of HDB flat internal walls require Professional engineer (P.E) endorsement.

Did you know that some of the HDB flat internal walls require Professional engineer (P.E) endorsement. This is my third encounter which require P.E for hacking of HDB flat internal walls. The whole process was smooth. i would like to thank the P.E and HDB officer for the time and effect to make the whole process a smooth one.

Do you need to apply HDB permit for carpentry work in HDB house?

A lot discussion about whether do you required a HDB permit for carpentry work in a HDB flat.

First of all, all HDB flat renovation come under the regulations of HDB rules. You do not need to apply for a HDB permit for carpentry work for any HDB flat but it stated that you need to engage a licence HDB contractor to renovate or furnish the work in a HDB flat. So, basically it means that you need to get a license contractor to do the job but a lot of carpentry workshops in Singapore do not have a HDB at licence.

So, what can you do ?

Anyway, If you need to construct kitchen cabinet base, fridge base or washing machine for your flat, all these work required a licence contractor to carry the work but need not apply any permit.

Did you know that you need to apply a permit for HDB household shelter wall feature. And it stated clearing the requirement for installing a wall feature at the household shelter. you must have a minimum clearance 1meter wide and access panel for the ventilation opening .
